Each Clown Surgeonfish from TSM Aquatics is professionally quarantined and conditioned to ensure a healthy, display-ready specimen.

Care Essentials:

• Tank Size: Recommended minimum 125 gallons to accommodate its active swimming and territorial behavior.

• Temperament: Semi aggressive. May show behavior toward similarly shaped fish but generally peaceful with dissimilar species.

• Diet: Herbivore with grazing tendencies. Offer marine algae, nori, spirulina, and quality herbivore formulas. Occasional meaty foods may be accepted.

• Reef Compatibility: Reef safe under most conditions, though maintain strong nutrition to avoid coral or sponge nipping.

• Water Conditions: Maintain stable reef parameters — temperature 76-82 °F, salinity 1.024-1.026, pH 8.1-8.4.

• Behavior & Habitat: Provide extensive live rock for grazing surfaces and swimming space. Include hiding spots and open zones.

• Maintenance Notes: Being a large tang, strong filtration and protein skimming are important to manage bio load.
