The Flame Angel (Centropyge loricula) is a vivid and popular dwarf angelfish known for its bright orange-red body, bold black bars, and striking blue fin tips. It adds dramatic color and active behavior to reef or fish-only aquariums.

Each Flame Angel from TSM Aquatics is fully quarantined and conditioned to ensure a healthy and stable arrival in your display system.

Care Essentials:

• Tank Size: Though some recommend 45 gallons, an aquarium of 65-100 gallons is ideal for long term comfort.

• Temperament: Semi aggressive. Can become territorial, especially toward other dwarf angelfish.

• Diet: Omnivore. Feed a varied diet including marine algae, spirulina, brine shrimp, mysis, and quality angelfish preparations.

• Reef Compatibility: Often reef safe, though some individuals may nip at soft corals or clam mantles if underfed.

• Water Conditions: Maintain stable reef parameters — temperature 75-80 °F, salinity 1.024-1.026, pH 8.1-8.4, strong flow.

• Behavior & Habitat: Provide plenty of live rock for grazing and hiding. Flame Angels readily explore rockwork and crevices. They may be shy at first but tend to adapt over time.

• Special Notes: This species is sensitive to elevated copper levels and may require extra caution when medicating.

• Size: Grows to about 6 inches in ideal conditions.
