The Marine Betta (Calloplesiops altivelis), also known as the Comet, is a stunning and elusive reef fish prized for its deep black body dotted with white spots and its false-eye tail marking. This peaceful carnivore is reef-safe, hardy, and adapts well to a variety of aquariums. Known for its secretive nature, the Marine Betta thrives with plenty of caves and shaded hiding spots, emerging at feeding time to display its graceful swimming style. All specimens from TSM Aquatics complete a full 30-day quarantine, ensuring they arrive healthy, eating, and parasite-free. Perfect for tanks 55 gallons or larger with calm tankmates.
