Pink and Green Rhodactis Mushroom (Rhodactis inchoata)

Bring vivid texture and motion to your reef with the Pink and Green Rhodactis Mushroom. This soft coral, also known as the “Bullseye Mushroom,” features striking pink centers with neon green highlights, creating an eye-catching display that thrives in mixed reef aquariums.

  • Hardy & beginner-friendly — tolerates a wide range of conditions and adapts easily.

  • Lighting — thrives under low to moderate light; avoid intense direct light to prevent bleaching.

  • Flow — prefers low to moderate water movement, allowing its tentacle-like surface to extend fully.

  • Growth — expands to several inches across; can spread over rockwork to form colorful colonies.

  • Aggression — semi-aggressive; leave space from delicate corals as it can sting nearby tissue.

  • Feeding — primarily photosynthetic through zooxanthellae, but benefits from occasional target feeding of micro-plankton or coral foods for faster growth and richer coloration.
