The Yellow Finger Gorgonian is a striking branching coral known for its vibrant yellow skeleton and contrasting polyps. Most varieties available in the hobby are non-photosynthetic and require regular feeding to thrive.

Placement:

Provide moderate to strong, indirect flow to keep detritus from settling and to encourage healthy polyp extension. Place in lower to moderate lighting, as light is not its primary energy source.

Feeding:

Feed 3–5 times per week (daily in mature systems for best results). Offer fine particle foods such as reef roids, phytoplankton and zooplankton blends, rotifers, baby brine shrimp, or similar micro-foods. Target feeding with pumps turned off for 10–15 minutes can improve feeding response.
